Up for auction is a nice Kar 98 that was issued to German Troops during WW1 and after Versaille Piece Threaty in 1920 was reworked and reissued to German Reichswehr.
Most parts are mismatched which is OK for a reworked after WW1 carbine, bore is excellent, stock has small arsenal repair in front right end, handguard has a crack.
There is a rare Bavarian Infantry division mark on the right side of receiver.
