Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Mauser Broomhandle RED NINE -- in Excellent , German Imperial Army Issue

Up for auction is a beautiful Mauser Broomhandle Pistol known to many collectors as "RED NINE". This one is a very early manufactured pistol procured by German Imperial Army in 1916 and survived almost 100 years in excellent conditiion with all matching serial numbers on all parts including grips. The bore is excellent, finish condition is rated 95-97% with some light corrosion on the left front end of the barrell. Pistol has slot for the stock covered with metal "T" shape panel installed many years ago by either importer or wholesaler and can be easily removed by a good quality gunsmith or machinist. It was installed back in time when installation of shoulder stock was not legal. The panel was not welded and you can still see contours of the slot. Overall, this pistol represents a nice and rare example of the weapon often issued to German Stormtroopers duting WW1 trench fightings. Shipping: $65.00 in CONUS By bidding on this item you certify there are no laws in the state of your residence that prohibit you from this purchase.
