This is a comsignment auction for a near new, unfired Smith & Wesson DA 45 Hand Ejector.(Commercial Model of 1917)6-shot, 45 ACP, 5-1/2" barrel, Lanyard, Checkered Walnut Grips with S&W Embellem. Serial # 181XXX. Two line lettering on barrel, with correct Pat.dates. Matching serial numbers on Butt & Clyinder. Smaller Inspector(?) Numbers on crane & inner frame match.(But they don't match the serial numbers.I have been told these were part numbers & also that they were Inspector numbers. I have a Model 1917 Military & it has the same type of numbers, but with the flaming bomb stamp following it, so I'm inclined to think they are Inspector Numbers.) It's a 5 screw frame, 1.5" clyinder. This Revolver appears Unfired, in near new condition. It does have some small storage blemishes on the right side of frame & barrel & tiny rust spots around the lanyard swivel holes. The Grips have some small storage marks & a few small scatches on the butt. So it's not prefect, but its about the nicest looking S&W Model 1917 I've seen in many years. Must ship to FFL or C&R. Buyer pays actual shipping costs by USPS Insured Flat Rate Priority Mail. Buyer has 10 days to get payment to Seller. Payment by Cashiers Check or Money Order only. Please don't bid if not legal to own in your area, No CA. sales. Any questions please e-mail. Thank you for looking. Merry Christmas from Gemini Gun & Knife Works FYI: There been a couple questions asked as if this S&W has been re-blued. It has not, its an all original Commercial Model, that appears to be unfired. My photos are not the greatest, but all lettering is crisp, sharp & correct for the serial number range and all serial #'s match, including the Grips. The blue color is correct for the Commercial model of that era. Any Buyer gets a 3 day No fire inspection, and as long as the side plate is not removed, as it appears the screws have not been turned since it came out of the factory. Thank you for your interest.
