This is a Auto-Ordnance Corp. Model 1911 A-1 U.S. Army, .45 ACP single-action pistol which was manufactured in West Hurley, N.Y. The gun comes with its original plastic storage case, cardboard sleeve for the storage case, owner’s manual and safety precautions hang tag. The gun appears to be unfired with the magazine still in its protective plastic wrap (see photos). The gun has a 5" barrel with a 7 shot magazine. The bore is in excellent condition with crisp rifling. The gun has a parkerized finish, original 1911 type sights and checkered brown plastic grips.
The parkerized finish is 98% or better, however there are thin slide marks on the sides of the frame from the slide being pulled back and there’s a small spot of the top of the hammer where the finish is scratched, otherwise the finish is in excellent condition (see photos). The checkered brown plastic grips are also in excellent condition, however there is a very small nick in the rear corner of the right-grip (see photos).
As mentioned, the gun comes with its original 7-round magazine still in its protective plastic wrap with ammunition recommendation sticker on the plastic wrap, plastic storage case, cardboard sleeve for plastic storage case, owner’s manual and safety precaution hang tag (see photos). The ends of the cardboard sleeve are a bit tattered and a sticker was torn off the front, otherwise it’s in good condition. The owner manual is a bit tattered, otherwise it’s in good condition.
As mentioned the gun appears to be unfired and overall is in excellent condition mechanically and in appearance. Serial #TGM3472. STK. #21120.
