You can easily shorten them by by grinding the ends slightly, + smoothing over with fine sandpaper. Fast + easy. This is the longest of the 3 screws that go inside the lockplate, + hold the inside parts on. And, the one most likely to break. Proper name is- Sear Screw. It holds the sear + part of the bridle on to the lockplate. Outstanding condition, near mint, perfect threads + nice slots.
