A Weaver K2.5 scope is mounted with a one-piece Redfield mount to the receiver. The scope interior is very clean, with a fine horizontal crosshair and half length tapered center post. The exterior lenses are a bit dirty, but cleanable and this is a very usable scope. The scope is marked “Patented / El Paso Tex. U.S.A.”. The exterior of the scope tube shows finish loss, scratches and pinprick erosion. Leather scope caps are provided.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered and oiled wood. The wood is a bit dry with handling and storage marks throughout, none severe. Finish Originality: Factory Original
Bore Condition: The bore is near bright, with just a bit of fouling and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 80% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some surface marking, namely on the left side of the receiver and edge wear. Both receiver flats and the scope body show some scattered surface rust, as does the front left side of the barrel. The right side of the barrel, forward of the wood shows a few spots of erosion that was cleaned up, thinning the finish in the process. The Screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about good condition.
