Overall, this gun rates in about fine - excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this gun..

The box shows tatters throughout and losses on the front face where the "Volcanic" is torn and missing. The box pictures Oliver Winchester in color. The gun does not fit in the box properly with the globe and tang sights.
Our Assessment: This is a beautiful Model 94 in a great caliber. .38-55 is one of the preferred Long Range cowboy calibers, and has seen considerable success in the sport. With the 24 inch barrel, very nicely upgraded sights, nicely grained wood and Gold plated receiver you can not only shoot long range, but do so with style. The gun has been fired so pick it up and keep firing it. You will be the talk of all Cowboy Action shooting events with this gun.
