Guns For Sale - St. Joes Intrac Arms 12 Ga. -- Coach 12 SxS Shotgun w/ External Hammers

LSB#: 1110824NV5

Title: St. Joe’s Intrac Arms "Coach 12" - 12 Ga. SxS Shotgun w/External Hammers – No Reserve

Make: Intrac Arms, China

Model: Coach 12

Serial Number: 99001093

Year of Manufacture: Modern

Caliber: 12 Ga. 2 3/4"

Action Type: Side by Side, Lever Actuated Break Open Shotgun With Exposed Hammers

Markings: The right side of the right barrel is marked "12 GA 20" Barrel Length 2 3/4" Chamber Length", the bottom of the frame is marked "Made in China / Intrac Arms / Knoxville Tn.". The left side of the receiver is marked "Coach 12 / 99001093".

Barrel Length: 20". The right barrel measures .720 (Cyl) and the left .705 (Mod)

Sights / Optics: The gun is mounted with a bead front sight on a full length rib.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock(s) is/are wood in rough condition with gouges, finish loss, nicks, bruises, and compression marks. The good news is that there are no major cracks or losses. The stock has some gaps by the receiver metal. This was a primary cowboy shooting shotgun and the wood shows the battle scars to prove it.

Type of Finish: Blue

Finish Originality: All Original.

Bore Condition: The bores are clean and bright. . There is no apparent erosion.

Overall Condition: This gun retains about 85% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows scattered wear from use. There is wear at the breech and along the bottom of the receiver. Again, this was a primary cowboy shooting shotgun and shows wear from handlingm, shooting, storage and re-staging. The Screw heads are show use with mild disfiguration. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly, the lever opens the action, the hammers lock back and are released by the triggers. The action is slightly loose, as intended for a competition shotgun. We did not fire this shotgun.

Box & Accessories: None

Our Assessment: This will make a great cowboy action shooting side by side in 12 gauage for the Classic Cowboy class. It has the classic coach gun look. This gun belonged to one of our best friends, St. Joes Sheriff, who was prematurely taken from us last month. His gun collection is being auctioned through us to benefit his widow and the Happy Trail's Children’s Foundation. .

CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This gun can be transferred in Calaifornia.
