WWII MODEL 1911A1 PISTOL |
Pistol is very clean overall and retains approximately 97% of the orignal grey/green parkerized finish (see photos). There is minimal holster wear to the lower frame on the left side only (see close-up photos). Bore is very bright/clean with evident rifling and NO pitting. The original finish to the metal components is consistant overall (see photos). Markings to the components are all sharp/clear & serial number indicates manufacture by Remington Rand in 1944 (see photos). Action is tight/crisp and works properly. Trigger pull releases the firing mechanism.
WWII plastic grips are very clean overall with no chips or losses (see photos).
Magazine appears to be standard issue with most all of the original finish remaining.
