Having a fondness for Remington Model 24's (my grandfather carried one full-time in his pickup, and I shot it extensively) I'm hesitant to sell this booklet. On the cover it says it is Reprinted from Sporting Goods Illustrated Journal.
From Remington Arms 1930, titled THREE MILES OF AMMUNITION AND NINETEEN INCHES OF RIFLE BARREL. Over a 3 year time span, employees at Remington continually fed Kleanbore .22 shorts through a Model 24. By the time they were finished 285,000 shots had been fired.
Their goal was proof that the new Kleanbore priming system was all it lived up to be (data shows it was). The barrel hardly changed a bit.
A great info piece for the collector.
