Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock(s) is/are wood in good condition. There are plenty of light nicks, scratches and dings but no major cracks or losses. This is likely from poor storage and handling, because the gun shows very little use.

Bore Condition: The rifling is The bore is mostly bright but there is some old fouling present that will require some elbow grease to remove and improve. There does not appear to be any erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 80% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows a small area of light pitting on the left side of the barrel at the receiver step. There is also some beginning surface discoloration on the right side rear of the receiver. The bolt surface shows some wear. The Screw heads are sharp and undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about very good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this gun.

Our Assessment: This gun is a great low end entry shotgun or an older almost collectable Mossberg. It is in a manageable gauge for a woman or child or the 16 gauage enthusiast out there. The gun is clean, safe and easy to operate. The adition of a multi choke device inreases its flexibility. The gun is in very good condition and should provide years of shooting ahead as a reliable gun.
