This is a desirable 1873 French Military Revolver. It is in the Original French 11mm cal. All numbered parts are matching.
This revolver needs a new trigger return spring, and then the Action will function perfectly. A simple repair for any gunsmith. The original wood checked grips were replaced by Plastic, as was commonly done during both WWI and II. The plastic grips show damage, and should be replaced by wood grips as on the originals.
This revolver is finished in the white, which is correct for the Model 1873. It is a Great inexpensive example of a most desirable French Military revolver that can easily be brought back to original condition.
