Here is a nice example of a J STEVENS "DIAMOND No 43", Second Issue, 22 caliber target pistol, chambered in 22 RF caliber. The 2nd Issue was made between 1896 and 1916 with a total production of about 70,000 pistols. This one has a peep rear sight and a Globe front sight. The action works fine. The bore shows roughness, but will clean up a bit with some brushing, but there is good rifling. The walnut grips are in excellent condition. The frame retains 95% of the original nickel and the barrel has a nice mix of blue and patina. A nice example of a No 43. I will need a signed FFL or C&R from the buyer and $15 shipping. NO RESERVE!!
