Barrel Length: 4"
Sights / Optics: The gun is mounted with no sights.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock(s) is/are wood in servicable condition. The grips may not be original to this gun, as they are a bit undersized. The grips have dings and mars but no major losses.
Type of Finish: Nickel
Finish Originality: All Original
Bore Condition: The rifling is gone and the barel is nearly smooth. There is visible erosion in the barrel.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 20% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows loss of finish around the trigger/hammer area and surface rust / a thick patina where the finish has been lost. The Screw heads are servicable and show some use.. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about fair condition, would be better if parts complete.
Mechanics: The action is not functioning . The breech swing block is missing , the hammer does not cock back and the trigger is not functional. You can observe that the hammer screw has threaded too far in on the right side of the frame.
Box & Accessories: None
Our Assessment: This is an early example of a muff pistol in .22 caliber. This will make a great restoration project as the metal is primarily smooth and the markings are still deep. This is just and interesting and rear little European pistol.
CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This gun is an antique and can be sold in California.
