10% down will hold until June 2012 when this item will be again available. Ruger Number 3 #3 30-40 Krag RARE 200th year, 22 inch barrel. With box, papers and extra cost bases for Ruger rings. Function test fired only. A collector grade rifle. Three month Lay-a-Way available. FFL required. Rifle will be shipped USPS Priority Mail, fully insured and tracked. Buyer pays actual cost.

        A:  This is an auction. Attempting to proffer "off auction" offers is a violation of our agreements with Auction Arms and would subject us both to expulsion from the site. If what you intended to say was "Would you cancel the current auction and relist it with a BIN of $1000 ?" The answer is no. As a minor collector of No. 1s and No. 3s, I am aware of the relative rarity of #3s in 30-40, especially in this condition. So, the price is the price. If it sells fine, if not, fine as it's doing better on appreciation than other most investments. Thanks for your interest. 03/17/2012
