    Q:  I was wondering if you could measure the diameter and length of the cylinder and give me this information. This may help narrow down the model of the firearm from which the parts came. Thanks. 08/22/2011
        A:  these are from a S&W 686 revolver. The cylinder walls on a 66 are thinner as they are built on a smaller K frame. 08/23/2011
