Bore Condition: The rifling is sharp and deep. There are no signs of erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minor wear. There are numerous places where marks are present under the blue, likely from poor surface preparation before blueing or simply clues into Jennings metal preparation process. The Screw heads are sharp and not disfigured. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about fine condition, would be a lot better if not for the mechanical issues.
Mechanics: The action is current not working. The gun fails to cock. We don't believe that this would require major gunsmithing but we have not removed the slide or dissasembled this gun. The firing pin also protrudes past the bolt face. The gun will need some gunsmithing work.
Box & Accessories: The original box is retained along with one extra magazine. The Bryco Arms instruction manual is included. The magazine capacity is 8 rounds.
Our Assessment: This is a heavy gun that is in good condition. We don't know what the problem with cocking the gun results from. There is an extra magazine included. This caliber .380 is fast becoming the personal protection/carry gun preferred cartridge.
