Our Assessment: This is an interesting black powder cap and ball revolver. The 1851 Colt Navy design was highly regarded for its excellent ergonomics, and was favored by such pistoleros as Wild Bill Hickock. The long barrel should add to the accuracy and appeal of this interesting revolver.
