Model: Colt 1860 Army Sheriff’s Model

Serial Number: P93830

Year of Manufacture: Reproduction

Caliber: .44 Percussion

Action Type: Single Action Revolver

Markings: The U.S. Military inspector's cartouche is stamped on the left grip. Otherwise the gun has the standard Hartford / Pietta, .44 Cal Black Powder markings.

Barrel Length: 5 1/2 inches

Sights / Optics: The gun is mounted with typical brass blade front, and notched hammer rear sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock(s) are very handsome oiled wood, with inspector's cartouche in near-new condition, on a brass grip frame.

Type of Finish: Blue finish on the barrel and cylinder; color case hardening on the frame and loading lever; brass grip frame, with notch and extended screws for mounting a buttstock.

Finish Originality: The finish is original.

Bore Condition: The rifling is is sharp and strong.. There no discernable erosion.

Overall Condition: This gun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish is due to some light handling marks and marks on the cylinder bolt notches. The Screw heads are sharp and clean. The markings are clear and deep. Overall, this gun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions as designed.

Box & Accessories: This revolver comes with the original box and hang tag.

Our Assessment: This reproduction is in near-new condition. Suitable for historical re-enactors, Civil War buffs, or Cowboy Action Shooters, who would favor the shorter barrel length; this is a very nice revolver reproduction!

Insured shipping will cost $20.
