Here is one of the SPANISH made revolvers made in the post WW I era to imitate and compete with the COLT and SMITH & WESSON revolvers of the era. I believe this is a GARATE ANITUA revolver made at EIBAR and marked 1924. The 5 inch barrel is marked 38 LONG but it does chamber 38 SPECIALS.. I would rate the original blue at about 90% with mixed patina. The checkered walnut grips are fine with no chips or cracks. The markings and proof marks are all sharp and clear. The action works perfectly and the bore is bright and shiny. As with any vintage revolver, you should have it checked by your gunsmith if you wish to fire it. I have fired it with mid range wad cutters and it works fine. But you should have it checked yourself. I will need the buyer to provide a signed FFL or C&R and include $20 shipping, NO RESERVE!!!
