Guns For Sale - Marlin Firearms Co. -- Marlin 336 RC Remington 35 Cal 1st Model

This model was introduced in 1948 and ran through 1968. This is a 1st model, manufactured in 1952, which is also the first year it was chambered for the 35 Remington cartridge. It has a 20 inch tapered, round barrel, with Ballard-type rifling. The pistol grip stock and semi-beavertail forend are of American walnut. It features Rocky mountain elevator and notch style rear, and brass bead front sights, and the hammer is lowered to facilitate scope mounting. Seller's Description: Normal wear and minor scratches on factory bluing with some minor light rust on barrel and lower edge of lever. Stocks are in excellent condition with no splits or cracks and appear to have been varnished. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves. Mechanical condition is excellent, with minimal wear. Serial number J33820. Manufactured 1952. More photos available on request.
