of early Ruger rifles which were recently

acquired from a deceased close friend

of Bill Ruger’s. These rifles are of the earliest production quality

and all four bear just the 3 digit serial number “225” on them.

Situated in the middle of gun country we have had the opportunity to acquire many fine and desirable firearms over the past 40 years from

such firms as Colt, Winchester, Parker, Marlin, Ruger and dozens of other manufacturers who made their home in this state over the past 200 years. Custom guns, low-serial numbered specimens, employee grade arms and employee “take-home” guns – we have had our share. With the Sturm Ruger original factory only a couple of blocks away, this is one such gun which was employee owned. A very important member of the firm, this employee was reserved SERIAL NUMBER 225 and acquired every model and variation issued with that specific number. UNFIRED IN NEAR NEW CONDITION is this Ruger DEERSTALKER .44 MAGNUM semi-auto carbine. It has an 18” barrel, internal magazine and exhibits the exceptional selection of wood usually found on early production guns. The gun will come with a documentation letter from the Ruger Collectors Association (RCA) The gun is in UNFIRED condition. Has only a couple minute storage marks. This specimen of the quartet of four important early SN 225s were obtained by the employee directly from the factory on internal employee purchase and were literally "handed over" to the employee without any boxes. Later SN 225s he obtained were all in factory boxes however these early ones had none. We will document this in RCA letter going to winning bidder.
