Description

Seller's Description:
Here is something you don't see every day. This is a Crosman M1 Carbine BB gun. From my research, I discovered that these were made from 1966 until 1976. They were close replicas to the real M1 Carbine, and there is only 2 ounces of difference in weight between the BB gun and the real unloaded M1 Carbine. The slide is pulled rearward and up to 22 BBs can be loaded through the front hole in the handguard. The rear hole is for oiling the mechanism. They are cocked by grabbing the barrel and pushing reward. The barrel is then pulled forward before firing. They are reported to have a muzzle velocity of 350 fps when working properly. Now, for what's wrong with it...This gun cocks, but very little air comes out the barrel. I am assuming the piston needs new seals. Also, the top of the rear peep sight is broken off, and the screw that goes through the stock above the trigger group is not original. Other than that, the gun is in pretty good shape. The gun has normal wear and finish reduction on the barrel due to being cocked by sweaty hands. The stock and handguard have no chips or cracks. I also read that about half of these for sale are missing the magazine, which is actually a storage compartment for your BBs. This one has the magazine. I think it could easily repaired if parts could be obtained. Thanks for looking, and if you're bidding, good luck.
