NO RESERVE!! Here's a great rifle for the shooter and Ruger collector alike! This is a Ruger .44 Magnum "Finger Groove Sporter". A semi-automatic rifle chambered for the .44 Remington Magnum cartridge, this Ruger features the sporter style stock with fluted "finger groove" forend and Monte Carlo butt. The stock also factory fitted with Ruger's early style sling swivels and shotgun style buttplate. The barrel measures a handy 18-1/2" in length and is supplied with iron sights. There is a Redfield 2-3/4x scope installed using Weaver mounts in the factory drilled and tapped holes on barrel & receiver. Overall condition is very nice with some signs of use. This is about 96-97% of the original blue finish remaining. There is no rust or pitting. The stock is in very good shape as well showing handling marks but no cracks or chips. The mechanics appear to be in perfect working order and the bore is excellent. The Redfield scope is also in fine shape with clear, bright optics. Leather sling is included. The serial number places this carbine in 1971 production, the last year for this variation. These Finger Groove Sporters are quick handling and known to be a bit more accurate than their more common "barrel-banded" brothers. Buyer pays $25.00 shipping.
