Thread Title: "Inspect your firearm before leaving good feedback"
(no avatar) I bought a flintlock from muzzleloader man in ut,and used the buy now feature and seen he was a new seller and didn't state the shipping price so I even sent him twenty dollars extra for shipping.when I got the gun in I just looked at it in the box with the plastic still on it so I was on the computer at the time and left him a great feedback,Boy did I make a mistake,When I slid the ramrod out a screw fell out from the rib under the barrel, the screw holes was not drilled for this rib,one screw would hold the rib in place the next one had to be screwed in at a angle which crossthreaded it and the third you couldn't even see the hole in the barrel so he dropped the screw in and put the ram rod in to hold it. Now here is the good part at that time I noticed a small crack in the stock about four inches long opposite the lock which ran through one of the screw holes. I sent an email with no reply,so if you buy a austin & halleck, just consider it comes as is with no guarantee.
