Thread Title: "Where to sell NRA Memorabilia?"
circlei

Is there a place at AA to sell NRA memorabilia? If not then where?

Example: I have three serial numbered pictures that were part of a package available from friends of the NRA banquets/auctions over a three year period. I got them in a raffle at Laughlen NV at a NRA meeting for Friends of NRA committees. They were the property of the state rep at the time. One is very special since the painting was based on a photograph with the state rep and his uncle Joe Foss. Taped to the back of the painting is a photo showing the state rep and Joe Foss wearing the same shirts they were wearing for the photo the painting was based on. I also have a Blue book of values signed to me by Joe Foss with his pic on the front cover. These are items that I collected when I was deeply involved with the NRA as founder of the Chiricahua Friends of the NRA, FFL for events, chairman of events and NRA Foundation grant committee member in Arizona...but, my health has forced me out of the gun business and I have to part with many special items like these so my wife doesn't have to deal with this when I "take the journey". I still have the first William Ruger commemmorative pistol serial number NRA00357 that was shown for most of the advertising when it was released by Ruger, NRA and Davidsons. You will see it on AA here shortly along with dozens of publications showing the pistol's serial number clearly. I also have the special edition Blue Book of values showing the pistol on the front cover. The special editions were serial numbered and my book has the same serial number as the gun. The book is also personally signed by executives from Ruger, NRA and Davidsons. I am guessing AA is the best spot to auction the gun but what about non-gun memorabilia? Thanks for any advice/help offered!

This site has somewhere around 60 categories of items for sale and even if you can't find one which seems to fit perfectly, there's always "Fibber McGhee's Closet" for miscellanea.
