| (no avatar) | last time I called the Postal Authorities on someone they wanted to know if he was wearing a turbin? Then stated, "Do you have any idea how many SSN checks are stolen and lost each month? Good luck." JohnT |

| (no avatar) | I had a postal money order get lost for a while and the post office said I couldn't file a claim for 30 days. Even if I had sent it registered mail which I didn't they said their system is not like UPS where it is logged in and out at every transfer. It could take months for them to find it. |

| (no avatar) | One of the greatest scams ever pulled on the Public is the assumption they can be readily tracked and the Postal Authorities will jump right on it. You can cancel a check. You can't that MO. It is paid for and long gone. JohnT |

I just went through a lost Money Order claim with the Post office, they wont take the 6401 form till 30 days are up from the date of purchase, I was told that if nothing is found in another 30 days they will void the M/O and refund you the full amount LESS the fee of $5.40. All said and done it took about month to get refunded.
