They will probably be in your fruit trees. Stubborn. Finally got the deer to leave my young apple tree alone- at the cost of 1 gallon of cheap Louisianna hot sauce applied with a paint brush to the trunks. |

Joes-a bear has a keen sense of smell.Try sprinkling some powdered Cayenne pepper at the base of the trees and on a few of the lower fruit.You can get a big bottle at Sam's pretty cheap.When it rains you will have to reapply it,works great for me on deer.This county i live in has more deer than red ants.During rut i had a eight and a ten point doing battle under my yard light in my front yard. |

Tomon- don't know, but did hear a buck doing an imitation of a cajun- You know, that "AI-EEEEE !" thing? (GRIN) Another vote for the cayenne- broke one mutt of getting into my trashcan courtesy of the carcass of a turkey, and an ounce of cayenne dusted over it. |

Cyro, take it from an oldtime bear hunter. Shoot him in the ass with the rubber bullets. It may take a couple of applications but he will get the message and stay gone. PS, A load of #4s at 60 yds will do the same thing only cheaper. trapper |

| (no avatar) | Any ideas for racoons? Last summer I lost my last 2 plantings of corn. Due to new house constructions and an a**hole neighbor shooting and dogs are no longer and option. They didn't eat too many at first but knocked down my last twelve 25' rows in my garden and left me nothing to freeze. |
