Thread Title: "No "closing notice" emails being received tonight"
We had auctions that closed 3:45 minutes ago tonight that we haven't received "closing notice" emails for. We reply to them with buyer mailing address information. We have had to send brief emails through your system for this. We have later closing auctions that we have received nothing on either. We are leaving early in the morning, and have to do this roundabout contact method because we have no "closing notice" emails to reply to. What has happened?
Haven't had any auctions for the last week, as we are taking everything to a gun show this weekend, BUT, we have had an apparent problem with emails. We have been attempting to communicate, through AA email system, with a couple buyers whose auctions were not yet completed. Unless all of them are not reading their emails, none of them have gotten through. We sent tracking numbers etc, and two-three days later, get an email, regular, NOT through AA, asking if the gun was sent yet. Don't know if it is an AA problem mor not.
I also had no closing email notices last night, or invoices that I sent went out. I resent AA invoices this morning without a problem, but for those that only use the closing notice not sure how one would get them.
Ok, now things are really strange. Two emails/Contacts sent/posted through individual auctions, Feb 29, and March 5, though posted to those auctions on those dates, the actual email copies have only just been received by those buyers tonight.
Sent an email with tracking number via AA email to customer on 4 March. Has not arrived yet, and he HAS checked his spam filters as he has been conversing with me via AA email previously. This sucks as it makes sellers look like they are not communicating. What gives??????????????
Petes--Nothing is perfect all the time,especially anything to do with the internet. You have the sellers phone #,why not use it. I have to practically beg to get sellers to call me. I even give them a toll free #. tks
