| (no avatar) | Mikker-but now we can buy em on the surplus market for $1,you would not believe the thing they give away,We have a sideline business selling military trucks,we buy em for next to nothing,the biggest expense is gettin em here,all surplus has a cost sticker on it,telling what the gov. paid for the item new,recently I was at a base looking over some computer cases up for bid,not one cost us taxpayers under$500,I bought the lot of 125 for $35,I didn,t really want em but I figgered a couple would be handy they ranged from 2x2 to 4x4 with all sizes in between,I took them to a tractor show and priced them at $20 each,sold out first day,sure wished I had more,the stuff they sell at a small fraction of what they pay will make you ill,why they don,t sell the stuff at realistic prices is beyond me,instead they let general liquidators a gov. run auction sell it,and as with any other gov. agency nobody has a clue its rife with payoffs and corruption,in order to get to bid on the good stuff you have to know who to bribe,or you will never even know about the real goods,all you will see is the junk they put up for public bid,that isn,t even a 10th of the stuff.stude51 |

| (no avatar) | think about who is charging the gov.for the 500.00 dollar comp. cases and wonder why our taxes are so high. it's the people right here that are making the product's and charging 500.00, dollar's for a 25.00 dollar item,kinda like 500.00 dollar toilet seat's and 200.00 dollar hammer's if your the one that is selling the product to the gov. it's ok if your paying for it it's rape. |
